The team documentary video was done on Friday and now posted! I like our team documentary, it was very difficult to get a fine balance between creativity and information, but I think that we have reached that point…. where we have plenty of information and yet it is entertaining and compelling to watch, to me at least.

Last night, Gage and I stayed up to finish up the team Moonbots Documentary, while Karlin went out with his parents and stood in line for 3 hours for a “Midnight Madness” fish sale. (Is there such thing that could be more important than the Moonbots deadline?!)

We watched three more episodes of “Moon Machine” videos in order to get some visual understanding of the actual machines and technologies used in getting to space and to the moon, expanding our knowledge, and to learn about obstacles and things to be considered during design.
Reasons for the today’s lunar exploration
Week 2, we started our in-depth research on each of the 6 reasons for new lunar exploration: expanding human civilization, involving the public, testing existing equipment for space travel, uniting nations with a common goal, economic reasons, and learning about the solar system.
