Langan Engineering is a civil engineering company where team Landroids conducted an energy audit for the 2007 First Lego League (FLL) Power Puzzle research project.

Team Landroids #2254 visited Langan’s headquarters in Elmwood Park, NJ because the Langan Green Team is our team sponsor. This approximately 102,000 sf, four-story building is mostly Langan offices, with some doctor offices. This office building is powered completely by electricity.

There are many energy-efficient building features in-placed, but there are also many inefficient and wasteful energy uses.  Team Landroids has investigated and made some recommendations that Langan and its landlord can consider to reduce its energy consumption and dependency on fossil fuel.
